Hats, Hats and more Hats! #1
While I was taking my Zbrush class (Which I need to update my process) I was taking a hat making class.
Here are my hats that I have made.
Here's the one I made in the class. I had a peacock Pendent that the pin in the back broke. I wanted attention, so I made a hat for it.

Here you can see the silver pendent at the base.
And lots for Feathers.

the brown fabric wire that's going around the hat is called a figure 8. What it dose is it keeps the hat on your head by pulling your hair thru the loop in the back.

This Hat is my second hat. while I was shopping for fabric for my first hat I ran across this black and blue fabric that I absolutely love.
I also wanted to make a hat that was opposite to my first hat so I did just get used to one type of hat (and the first one was to big round and too small tall) so I went with a 5" hat. :D
Front Side.
Though it's hard to see here the ribbon going around the hat is larger on the left then the right. I thought it was a good balance against the BIG feathers.

My third hat I wanted to make to match the outfit I'm making from scratch. I've made the cloak some time ago.
Now I've made a hat!
When I first started this hat it fit perfectlly on my head but after the thick layers of fabric and sowing the sides up its now too small, but if I put my hair up it looks just fine on my head. Plus this hat I want to tie everything together for my outfit that I'm making which is kind of Victorian Gothic aka it's a black Victorian style outfit.

The sides of the hat are sown up. I think it gives it that 1800's looks to it.

More feathers!
This here is a hat pin. what you do is you take it and put it thru the hat itself and thru your hair and it stays in place. On New Years (Yay 2014!) I wore this hat and used the Hatpin like that and it worked great! It stayed on my head and I didn't have to worry abut it falling off.
Back.
The fabric hanging off the back is smiler to my corset that I had made. (Next thing to learn is to make a corset! (As soon as I find someone that's teaching it)).
Inside.
My dad is making me a good leather purse and the fabric inside it is the same as the inside of my hat.
I wanted to make a small hat for my forth hat. I measured my cat's head for fun but my poodle is the only one that will put up with my weirdness. It looks so cute on him! :D
I also wanted to go more steampunk-ish this time.

Feather!
I love Feathers.

The big comb thing makes it so it stays on my head. Very well I might add.
Well that's my hats for now. My next hat I'll do a step by step thing.
Thanks for visiting! :D
